Advice needed!!!!
I have been looking and applying for jobs for the past month with no luck. While searching on Indeed I came across a company I worked for awhile back. Decided to go and talk to the owner in person and bring my updated resume(October 9th). She informed me it’ll be a couple weeks because they want to finish training the other two girls but she’ll give me a call. Thought ok great. Well this past Monday(the 16th) I called just to say hey I’m still looking just to let her know I’m still available. I guess my question is would it be wrong to go and ask about the status or is that being to pushy? I just know they are still hiring and I guess at the end of the day I just want a yes or no. I hate not knowing but I really need a job.

Do know let yourself go back into that situation if she doesn't want you now don't let this discourage you lift your head up and walk proud if you aren't number one in their eyes always put yourself first except nothing else

Learn not to settle or act desperate when looking for ajob be patient and know what you want to do meaning what kind of job you want to pursue. You sound very young and its nothing wrong with that. All I am saying be a leader not a follower your friends may want to work to work in McDonald or some fast food restaurant. This may not be the line of work for you take that experience and move forward in your life with a new job never look back you can transfer your skills into another field of work. Smile the world is yours just take out of life what you want without greed or desperation and leave everything else alone you will have many jobs, One day you will have to settle in a job so get the job you do not working for the rest of your life its called having a career not a job. Work smart and not hard your career job is waiting for you to make a decision. Much success

leave it alone if its meant for you the phone will ring. Yes you are being pushy and that's a turn off.
If it is a company you have previously worked for they may have other reasons for not hiring you back. There is nothing ethically wrong with checking up on the status of your application, but I would suggest continuing the job hunt.
