Happy to be back
I’m a mailman for the USPS and due to a family emergency I had to take some time off work. On my first day back I ended up running into one of the people on my route and he asked politely what happened. I explained and then had to say goodbye to get back to my route. The very next day he met me out by my truck with a basket full of fruit and gift cards and everything else. I was so taken back by his kindness and thoughtfulness for me and my family.
Thank you if you’ve ever done anything kind for your carrier!!

After working as a delivery person for USPS and also Amazon I have both empathy and respect for the job. I noticed on one of my routes a customer leaves bottled water and treats for the delivery people and a note that says help yourself. Thought that was the coolest thing ever.

Much respect to the mail people. I always give the delivery person on my route cold water and a snack. Remember people, it's getting hot out there and these delivery folks are on foot walking in it. Help them with cool beverages or whatever you can help with.

I’m glad to hear stories like that. You guys and gals work very hard and deserve some recognition. Kudos to the USPS!!! We love ypu

Hi Suzanne! I am so sorry! Here is the [website] (https://about.usps.com/careers/welcome.htm) for you to take a look at!

Can anyone tell me how to really apply for a post office job? I think I got scammed; I paid a "registration fee" of $70 & called back to ask a question & the number was invalid. What is the real website to apply?
Thanks for sharing and showing proof there are still some great folks in this world. Welcome back. And thanks for getting us our mail
