Although short because our family moved, this was a fulfilling position for the time I was employed there. This was our home church already, but it felt good to be assisting this vital ministry with skills that I was strong in: speaking with people, helping them problem solve, providing efficient office operation. It was a good way to help maintain and grow the skills I had. I found ways to be creative in the office so things would run more efficiently and be more organized. I was then able to train the next person so that they could just pick up where I left off, and even continue improving things as needed.
