How can I talk to Raytheon hiring staff about a job they don’t have an opening for right now?
I want to put myself in a good position to qualify for a production position in their manufacturing plant when the job opening becomes available. They post job openings in short windows literally almost 48 hours at a time. I’m never able to get my application in on-time and everything is done online. I’m thinking about mailing in my resume with a cover letter but I’m afraid my info won’t make it to the right hands. I can’t drive into the plant and ask for HR because they have too much security and I need clearance to have access to the campus.

Rick,
The option Jane gave you is a good one but you can do the search without a premium membership. HR Recruiter Raytheon in the search should generate contact names for you to reach out too. The other option would be Raytheon Recruiter.
Best of luck.

Hi Rick: I would call the main company line and ask if there's anyone you can speak to at the front desk. Front desk and officer managers tend to know precisely who you should talk to about your application; therefore, it's a great way to get the contact info you need. Hope this helps!

My friend works there. It's really hard to get in contact with staff.
You can try this - find the linkedin of a person who works at Raytheon (product position) and Linkedin message them.
You can do a free trial of "linkedin Premium Recruiter" and send private messages to people on linkedin

Try to get an information interview.
