ERP Project Manager - Glen Arbor, MI - Relocation Assistance Available

Estimated Salary: $114,945-$145,076 Summary of Position:

The ERP Project Manager is the leader of the IT Department and is responsible for the development, implementation and successful execution of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Royal 4 platform. This person is responsible for setting deadlines, delegating projects and monitoring progress using the ERP system while operating within budget.The ERP Manager will also use extensive knowledge and skills to perfect the R4 inventory management system relative to purchase orders, warehouse transfers, work orders and shipment notices.

Essential Duties:

Evaluates and recommends changes to current and future ERP & R4 system requirements. Leads the implementation of new organizational processes aligned with ERP configuration. Anticipates organizational inventory needs in a just in time environment. Manages warehouse inventory and tracking of purchase orders, warehouse transfers, work orders, shipment notices and SKU management. Works closely with departmental managers to determine the maintenance and growth need to ensure inventory accuracy. Provides recommendations for licensing renewals and upgrades. Responsible for creating and administering disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis.

Asset Management; internal functionality of inventory. Shipping and Receiving. Inventory Control. Order Processing. Replenishment. Quality Assurance. Product Location. Technology. Non Essential Job Duties: Ability to remain in a stationary position while sitting in front of a computer or laptop more than 50% of the time during shifts. Intermittent walking, bending, crouching, lifting of equipment. Ability to travel to all company locations. Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The ERP Project Manager reports directly to the Controller and has direct supervisory responsibilities over subordinate staff within IT Department. You Need Excellent communicator with people skills and is highly organized with ability to delegate projects. Follow through to ensure tasks are completed and goals are met or exceeded. Self-starter who is has the ability to anticipate the inventory and technical needs of the company. Can see the Big Picture for future projects and company growth. Ability to work under all deadlines. Flexible attitude, multi-tasker while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Educational Requirements:

Associate or Bachelor degree from a two year/ four-year College or University; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of clients, customers, managers and the general public.

Mathematical Skills :

Ability to calculate figures. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and make changes.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to communicate issues accurately

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, you should have knowledge of Microsoft Google, R4 and other technology as it relates to inventory management.

Physical Skills:

Ability to remain stationary or on foot for long periods of time. Adapt to various environments at all locations.
