Gate Keeper Security at In Terminal Services Its

It's harder to find work when a job lets you go on your day-off!

I have been looking for work since the let go with In-Terminal Services, and I don't think it's right, and now I am believing that jobs are using more then the past records as background checks, credit checks, I believe that they are now using my age as not to hire along with the lay-off with ITS, and that is not right because I want to work, and I'm not happy if I'm not working, because it is saying I don't have anything on life that I have done, and working is to be that, because I will work till I die!

You are not alone! I lost my job a month ago and I can't stand not working! I have had very little response to my resume and applications and have decided it is due to my age.... I'm almost 50 with 20+ years experience in administrative positions. I'm all I've got and have begun to panic now as I will lose everything I've worked for my entire life!

Hi Rodney, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with finding a job. We have many Jobcasers who seem to be going through the same problem because of their age. My suggestion is to make sure you show these companies your flexibility. They'll want to know that you're ok being managed by someone who may be 10-15 years younger than you. I would also recommend having a salary range so that you are able to negotiate pay. A lot of times they are worried they will have to pay you more because of your experience. I hope this helps!
