Hi I am new to this group but not new to the job seach.
I am 61 years old and am still trying to find a job. I just had a pretty good interview today. I know my age is a factor. This job I interviewed for is a Selling Supervisor for a retail store that sells stationary. I thought it went well.

You probably know this, but be sure to follow up with a nice thank you note that references something in the interview and reinforces your confidence that you can deliver value for their goals. Also, don't slow up searching away from that opportunity, the ol saw "don't count your chickens till they're hatched" certainly applies to job search. Until the offer is in writing in your hands, suggest you keep applying to 2-3 other opps each day that you are in search-mode.
