I don't belong anywhere
This is what I told myself before I was hired at Quicken Loans!!!! I just got out of the Navy and had NO direction. I applied everywhere and no luck.No one wanted this guy. Thank god that Quicken saw that my skills in military leadership matched closely with their job of communications expert. I didn't have to change who I was and I used the experience I already had to land myself a good job. Best decision I ever made. I love companies that support the military.

Too many Vets come back rudderless. Back in 76 I had a trade to fall back on. My Veterans group does exactly that sort of thing. Including any and all needs. So I get U just don't quit. I was a Marine so not quiting came easy as was drummed into us. Be yourself and be SMART.

Hey Rich-not an easy transition. Learn whatever you can-nose to the grindstone. My dad was both Korea and Vietnam. Thank you for all you did.

You do belong...I am happy for you

I read the heading and its how i feel I have amazing experience, and all around worth giving an opportunity to. I got into trouble 4 yeara ago and it changed my life for the better, except finding a good job. Ive been in recovery since, and absolutely have made peace being done as a Bartender.

I will add this for you Rich https://quickenloanscareers.com/about-us/veteran-hiring-program/

That's awesome that they are so supportive there of veterans.

Congrats man! Hard to fit in sometimes when you have been away from the world for a bit.
I'm glad your perception has changed but it was you that made the difference for the company. You have served and we thank you but always believe in yourself.
