Fired to be Replaced by Bosses Daughter

About 4 years ago, I was hired as a bookkeeper for a private company. I replaced the GMs daughter as she was the bookkeeper and was moving out of state. She was friendly during training me, but she moved back to CA about 3 month later and she regularly came in to the business to hang out with all the employees. She was not the same toward me. She wouldn't say hello to me. She rolled her eyes at me greeting her. She gave me dirty looks and write notes after I left for the day, like she was the best and no one can compare, so I would walk into the office to see it. Her mother, the Gms wife was the same to me. This went on for about a month and things became really bizarre. It was likethey were trying anything to break me down so I would quite.Suddenly I was being accused by the GM of telling a supervisors wife he was having an affair with one of my cashiers. I never new if he was. Never cared, nor thought about it. I certainly didn't tell his wife. My cashier staff began ignoring my requests. The f oh Male was a day that I couldn't finish my earnings report on time because the supervisor dismissed from the office so he could "discipline" an employee. I let my GM know that the report would be late bf I was remove from the office and there was no other computer to work from. He said, " not the report will be done on time". I tried my best to make it happen, but didn't succeed, so he fired me. Needless to say, his daughter was rehired. I filed for unemployment and got denied. Further more, I was required to drive 10 miles on my lunch to the bank for deposit, which the company didn't reimburse me for. I'm wondering if I should let it go, or sue. I've never sued anyone before. I just figured,I must have deserved it. I had very low self esteem by of other issues, beside this. Does anyone think I have a case?

When in doubt I would always seek the advice of a lawyer just to make sure. I have heard that Legal Shield offers some pretty great rates. I am so sorry that happened however and the whole situation is very uncalled for Melissa Jett . Please keep us posted!
