Car broke down when I was delivering a pizza!
Along time ago when i worked for Pizza Hut I broke down in front of an apartment complex during a delivery. Sadly it wasn't the one I needed to deliver to cuz that was another 15 mins away. I went up to the first door I seen and rang the doorbell. I asked this guy if he could help me out. About 10 minutes of trying to jump my car, I asked if I could use his phone to call the store and tell them what happened. I didn't have a phone then (crazy but true). It was really cold so he invited me in. We ended up talking and eating pizza for two hours while we waited for the store to send a tow truck. Someone else went in the meantime to re-deliver that other pizza so I didn't feel too bad. It was a crazy day!
I used to deliver pizza's a while back. I really enjoyed it. But I got mugged & had the hell beat out of me. I remember making it back to the store but I don't remember who called 911 & I don't remember how I got taken away in a ambulance. I remember wakin up in the hospital. But I didn't quit. But please be careful especially if you break down in a remote area. U never know who will steal from you.

U did the right thing and called for help. Your customers won't be upset and ur boss won't be upset. Just explain to ur boss what happened. You wouldn't lose ur job. That happens all the time.

Good for you man, I was a delivery driver once. Tough job, but really interesting and you make good tips. Never worked for pizza hut tho just a local place in my town.

Does awesome ray you must have a really good franchisee or you work at a corporate Red Roof or Delco there's a lot of franchisees out there when you call in would tell you well now deliver the pizza and you cause broken down you S.O.L cuz if you're not back at the restaurant before we close you know more job merry crimbo that's the kind stuff I heard franchisees employees all the time oh yeah FYI the GM for Pizza Hut and I work for many a horrible franchisee these franchisees bought and sold the store at least four times since I was working there we change franchisees and it was only good and we're working for corporate
