In spite of difficulties, keep trying!
I have read many of the posts here, and the responses...I can sympathize with the difficulties that many of you face in your job search, but I encourage you to never give up, just keep on trying. I say this from the perspective of someone who has several built-in "disadvantages"...I am a Black male, over 60 years of age, and a veteran. I do not have the accent of one born in the US, being from the US Virgin Islands...so many times people who would interview me didn't know what I look like until I am face-to-face with them. I can't tell you how many times I've seen eyebrows shoot up, and I never hear from them again LOL. I am also in an industry that is dominated by East Indians, Asians, and Caucasians...another "obstacle"? It is difficult for prospective employers to overlook a combination of experience and education...I hold a Masters Degree in my field, and I have over fifteen years of in-the-trenches experience. If I didn't receive a callback or an offer after an interview, I just kept on looking...I always felt like the right opportunity would eventually come along, and it did. I work for a wonderful company, full of great people who are friendly, supportive, and caring. Never give up, in spite of the roadblocks that will be thrown in your way. Use the time between jobs to further your education and improve your skills. Always display confidence and be positive. Attitude counts. Good luck out there!

Thank you so much for this inspirations, Simpson!! So glad you were able to keep going and find a great opportunity!
