Notice me!!

I know the job search world is all done online these days, but c’mon, there’s gotta be a better way to stand out to hiring managers. Anyone got any tips on what I can do to make my application stand out more?

I would also recommend removing personal information such as "I am a single mother" from your resume. Generally that is not relevant to the job you are seeking and with some employers, right or wrong, may perceive that as someone who may need extensive time off to handle family issues.

I think our society needs to stop relying on our electronic devices and concentrate on being human ,there great to have but a human is far more complicated than any device created and becoming a number is not my idea of advancing social evolution. As what you should do I would go to there home and apply (you got to be smarter than the machine and I believe that will make you stand out ) LOL

What I is hi-light anything on your resume that pertains to what the employer is asking for so it stands out when they are looking for specific things.

Great question, Elda! I would suggest following up on your online application a few days later and trying to get in touch with the hiring manager of the place you want to work at. It's a great way to get the attention of an employer - PLUS you can get more info about when you can expect to hear back about an interview!
