I have been unable to answer that simple question. As the tax code runs to over three million words of brain abusing doubletalk; attempting to read 26 USC IS LESS APPEALING THAN THE GAS CHAMBER. The Supreme Court makes it clear that there are two distinct classes of people; taxpayers and nontaxpayers but goes no further to make the distinction. The Court does not say why some are, and some are not liable.?
