hopeless

same here..its been seventh month that I apply cia indeed, or global-list..etc. I believe its all about networking, not experiences and qualifications. Sometimes I trust that If i happen to have different citizenship (German, US, Canadian, Uk etc). I would have been accepted anywhere. Being Harvard, Columbia educated..with 20 years extraordinary experience and not even invited for an interview....its sickening!

Apply during national hiring day at a mall it will get you heading in the correct direction.

Hello Nora, I don’t think it’s matters where you originate from as long as you're legally able to work in the US. I support someone else's comment on here about the level of competition that exist today for those middle-class jobs and wages. That’s why it super important to network and know people on the inside that can get those opportunity doors open. Those schools you mentioned (Harvard & Columbia) have strong alumni relationships. Get a contact list of people working in your field from the Alumni office and start email or letter writing for information interviews.
