Hello drivers, like many of you, setting around bored. {HOS} Guess im one of the old drivers, 41 years, still driving. a lot has changed over the years.some for the better some for the worse. better equipment, better working conditions. dispatchers still lie, guess some things will never change. all in all this has been a really wild ride down through the years. The people you meet, the friendships you make and the love you find. this highway can be a mistress . With all its seducing ways. luring you on into the night, wanting to see just one more sunrise or sunset. i always marveled at the sunsets across the deserts of the southwest, something enchanting about that place. Or to watch the sun set over the pacific from hwy 1. of course i cant leave out spring break in Daytona or Mardi Gras in new Orleans. Then there is new England, best sea food around. Yes drivers this is a great job, never a dull moment. A great big country with a lot to see. Take advantage of it while your out here running the highways. Stop and smell the roses, see the sights. Make time to enjoy all the blessing this country has for you. Well drivers its time to call it a night. so keep the shinny side up and the dirty side down. Be safe on your travels. Peace, love and God bless
HELLO DRIVERS,I WILL AGREE WITH MOST OF YOU.THINGS ABOUT DRIVING A TRUCK FOR A LIVING HAS NOT GOTTEN ANY BETTER WITH AGE. I WAS OUT THERE FOR (28) YEARS,AND I GUESS YOU COULD SAY I WAS LUCKY THAT I CAME OUT ACCIDENT FREE. I HAD MORE TROUBLE WITH DOT THAN ANY THING ELSE. YES I AM RETIRED NOW,BUT I MISS BEING ON THE ROAD.I AM 86 YEARS OLD NOW,BUT I DROVE UNTILL I WAS 83.ALL YOU YOUNG DRIVERS,THERE ARE BETTER JOBS OUT THERE THAN DRIVING A TRUCK,BUT NOT AS EXCITING. ENJOY WHATEVER YOU DO. BE SAFE!!!!!
