He freaked out but I handled it!

So I been workin at wendys for a bit now. This strange lookin dude come in the other day. And by that, I mean something was OFF. So he orders a lemonade and I tell him the price, and that's when he realizes the lemonade was 60 cents extra and then he got real angry. He kept screaming I WANT A REFUND>>>> over and over and over. I said I am sorry sir, I can't refund you cuz you didn't pay yet. I asked my manager what to do and we just let him keep it at that price. As he was drinkin it over in the corner when i looked at him he flashed me a smile and all I could think was....well played.

I'm a manager at Wendy's n I have seen that happen before. It's a shame how people are these days. All they want to do is rip people off just to get free food it's a shame

YES ALL THE MANAGERS JOB IS TO PUT THE PRICE TAG BEFORE SELLING FROM IN THE STORE OR EVEN OUTSIDE OF THE STORE, AND THAT WHICH MAKES EASY FOR THE CUSTOMERS TO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE

It’s really sad when people have to act insane to get something free. You probably would have gave him the drink for free if he would have asked in a respectful manner because kindness goes a long way. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it that gets results. I’m sure Wendy’s throw more than $1.60 away everyday. Well done on handling the madness!!!

Wow there are all kinds of idiots in this world, but the ones I hate the worst, are the cheap asses that think if they are loud enough, they will get a discount or special treatment! Your manager should have refused service and threw him out! Why should he get a price break for being a moron? Everyone else is expected to pay what ever the price is!
