Asap

I am located in Columbia SC where there is literally no financial assistance. I recently got fired in April. It wasn't technically my fault. I had to leave work to tend to my dad at school. I have lost hope in the system period. All I wanted was a place to lay my head. I loved my job. My appeal got turned down, I was denied unemployment, I was turned away from places due to the fact I had no proof o won't be evicted again. I tried all the resources I could. I have no reliable transportation, no money. I tried a GoFundMe page, help isn't here. I have no support system. Here I am a mother doing all the right things no help came. All the money I spent in order to get help and ended up losing everything.

Have you tried these local shelters? They both seem to focus on pulling people back from homelessness and unemployment and offering services for the children as well. All the best to you and your family. You can make it.

Contact your local Salvation Army. They have programs to help people facing homelessness or who are homeless.
