You never want to sit around waiting for someone else to take action. I would suggest that you call Lowes and speak with the manager or supervisor that interviewed you. Follow up with them to show initiative and express your strong interest in working for the company.

Moving forward, don't get your hopes up for one position. You'll need to apply to various positions with different employers to increase your chances of being hired. Sitting around and waiting only drives you crazy when you're not getting an update on a decision, so be proactive and call them.
