Look in your hiring packet and see if there are rules about returns/purchase from one family member to another. Then see about filing for unemployment. If they fight it try to contact labor board, etc. I hope you find something much better...both of you.

I worked at Dollar General for 2yrs as ASM. Most of the store managers dont go by the rules. The rules are you are not suppose to ring up any family members especially a return. Also not suppose to hire family members to work at the same store. So i would actually blame the manager for even allowing this.
