They delivered to space!
I remember I first wanted to come work for Pizza Hut when I read that they sent a pizza up on a rocket in 2001, and actually delivered an edible pie to the International Space Station! I mean that is pretty awesome.
I read that....The "space" Pizza Hut pizza delivered to the ISS featured traditional ingredients including a crispy crust, pizza sauce and cheese, but was topped with salami to enhance the pizza's flavor because researchers found that pepperoni did not withstand the 60-day testing process. In addition, the Pizza Hut space pizza was made six inches in diameter - the size of the Pizza Hut Personal Pan Pizza® - in order to fit into the smaller-sized oven aboard the ISS. Before final certification for consumption was given, the vacuum-sealed Pizza Hut pizza had to undergo rigorous stabilized thermal conditions to determine freshness-stay and lifespan.
Now THAT is a personalized pizza! I stayed for 6 months until a new opportunity came along, but I always had respect for Pizza Hut. It taught me a lot.
I remember when this happened Omar! I feel that any company who can tackle a difficult task like that could probably handle anything!
It's cool they took the time to figure out the best ways to make it and then send it to them! I bet they were thrilled!

Just like the pizza they give you at your house. It could be from the day before. When I order something I want it hot and fresh. I worked pizza hut for years and if only you knew sir if only you knew about your order.
