Discouraged with part-time job search
I have looked at some posted clerical positions, but as soon as the interviewer discerns my age they are rude. In fact, some of them hang up on me without ever exploring my job skills or ability.
The equal opportunity clause goes right out the window when your age comes into play it says no discrimination of sex race or age but that’s not true with a lot of interviewers we as older experienced worker we still need jobs to support ourselves truth be told we work better and harder than some that are younger!!!

Try social services. Com and glassdoor. Com. If age discrimination continues, consider work from home; convergys.com, apple, sykes, aetna, conduent, and Hyatt/ Hilton hotel.
