Entry level with limited experience

How much experience do companies really expect from a entry level job applicant. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong how else can I explain limited experience?

Accounting

Wisdom and worship I am Khalid Rashi. I am my teacher. I have a bachelor of accounting. I have 17 years of experience in financial and banking institutions. I like to have good progress in accounting, which I think I can work on in the European countries more and more. The result is because my financial strength is low and I have to work and study at the same time, please feel free to send me by email if you can help or help. Thanks khalidrashi444@gmil.com

Hey Deborah, The quick answer is - not a lot. We all go through the chicken-n-egg problem. How to get experience if they only hire people with experience. Truth is, the way you position your enthusiasm and value you bring to the firm can go a long way. And value isn't always derived from direct experience - sometimes its indirect (like volunteer gigs - which is why that is a big part of the jobcaser profile if you so choose!).
I see in your profile you have Bachelors in Accounting. If you completed that - I strongly suggest you lean on your schools career placement services for some leads as that would be a great first step to employers that value the education you competed but have little expectation that a graduate would come with experience already.
Hope this helps - I like Alyssa's comments above too.
Big thing is to not let short-term rejection get you down. Eventually someone will give you that shot - then just make the most of it! Good luck, you've got a lot of jobcasers rooting for you! Fred

I think it all depends on the actual position. I agree it is very confusing and frustrating! Just remember that you are selling your product - YOU- in every interview you go to! I hadn't thought about it that way until a recruiter with an agency told me that. You want to make them see how their life would be if they don't hire you! Also, something I've learned from a book a listened to recently is to make things for the other persons benefit, or make it seem like it was their idea and not yours. That sort of thing! I hope this helps a little!
