Just STOP Already!!
I may be young, but my coworkers treat me like I was born yesterday or something. They constantly call me "kiddo" or "child" when talking to me. I wish they wouldn't be so insecure about being older that they have to put me down. Treat me like a goddamn professional just like I treat everyone else. I wonder how they'd feel if I called them "oldie" or "grandpa" SMDH

Seriously, so many people complain about age discrimination, but there's nothing about how Baby Boomers treat younger workers in the office. It's super unprofessional and downright rude.

I don't want to victim-blame here, but maybe they're just saying it as a term of endearment? They might not even be thinking about it. Just tell them you appreciate not being called kiddo - end of story.
