Does anyone out there know of truly gainful employment in the Huntsville Alabama region? I got unfairly terminated from my job in January now every time I even get an interview that employer is sabotaging my chances at a job. I mean right out slander! I do have an attorney working on this but honestly if I can’t get the potential employer’s to admit to this I really don’t know my chances. I am 48 and though I don’t care at this point if I have to work fast food or something else I just need a job. My age and my experience scare lower level employers away and all of my experience is in the field that I have worked for over 20 years. I don’t think that any of my previous employers still have anyone there that knows me and there are at least one that I’m sure do not even have employment records so nothing for a potential employer to ask about a reference # HELP
Tracy Hi, I truly hope that you have a foot in a paying job by now since this happened few weeks ago. I feel for you because I sense that you want urgently get your pay back on track. I been there. Put other people that you worked with at that company on your forms instead of your old manager. Also just say contact HR. I got blackballed too and ended up working a bunch of short term contracts to pay the bills.
