Hard to find what suits you. When your looking for a job.

Over the IT years of my life I could never be happy in what I was doing. I always felt uncomfortable when I walked in the door the first day to the last. As a project manager and developer, many projects never seem to ever get finished, because somewhere along the financial line gets distorted and stakeholders pull out. Stakeholders need to be educated about what they are getting into before they start projects. As a contractor I get to move around which as a young man I loved; however as I am pushing on past 50 and starting a second family two boys 7 and 14 I need to find a job in my career field that will root me for the duration. This will benefit my family as well as my health. Health issues as many young people have less concern about will find as we get older it becomes that dreaded concern, so one will certainly start thinking about those roots. I found a job I really enjoyed, as short lived as it was. Teaching, yes I said teaching. Qualifications are not that rigorous as you think. It was short lived because the program subject was not adpt for the geo-local area I was teaching in , so that meant low student enrolment. Still I loved the job yet unfortunately I felt stabbing pangs in my back everyday from the senior staffing which made it very stressful. Going from jobsite to jobsite cannot go on, Finding a work home seems hopeless in an economy like ours. Is there any good long lasting jobs out there?
