Fleet Manager Maintenance at Electronic Environment

Job seeker
My husband is seeking full time employment in the Marlboro Hudson mass area. In the past 10 years he has worked as a facilities manager of a building at one job, and a fleet manager of the vehicles at another he was laid of due to automation. He wants to still make 15.00 which is less then before but no one will hire him. He is now 55 years old. Does anyone think this age discrimination? He can't get a job anywhere. He's always had good work reviews and relations in the past

Hi Rose: Thanks for posting to Jobcase! I would encourage your husband to make sure his resume reflects how flexible and adaptable he is. A lot of times, employers are worried that older workers who have lots of experience won't adapt to new workplaces or younger managers.
