Attention to detail is something that does not come naturally to me. I am aware of this shortcoming and so I have a number of tools and practices that I use try to help me not drop the ball on things in this regard. But, I confess that is something I have to consciously force myself to consider and address.
ps: I think when answering an interview question about your weakness you should suggest how you compensate for it in the workplace. Also suggest trying to avoid the false negatives (biggest weakness is I hate losing, biggest weakness is I am just too nice to people, biggest weakness is that I can't leave until everything is perfect, etc. - choose a real weakness - it humanizes you and shows self awareness - which is so critical to constant improement). Great question by the way! Fred

I think my biggest weakness is trying to take on too much. I frequently underestimate how much time a task will take me, and then end up not having enough time to get it all done. Of course, there are almost always things that can be moved to the next day, but a lot do have a deadline. So maybe also not being aware of the time I have to do things is part of my weakness as well.
I’m too hard on myself! I set high personal and professional expectations then come down hard on myself if I fall short. I try to approach goal setting differently today by taking time to re-evaluate my progression along the journey and making changes to practices that aren’t working and celebrating practices that do. Change is a process!!
