I am not sure if it's all age. When they can hire 2 new grads for what they can hire you for??? I would like to get a job closer to home and make less money but will not risk changing jobs until I am hired by another for the same reason. I have years of experience and when I hear other nurses speaking (much younger) they do not want to get their hands dirty. You have to get your hands dirty before you can go out and be a real nurse that can give advice and practice on someone in the hospital.
