I'm not sure where you live but the School Bus company here, in Indianapolis, IN is always hiring bus drivers. They give you free training too. I suspect many cities are the same. That is always a good way to get started in the industry. Some of our workers have gone on to work for the city bus and some of them have returned from the city bus gig to return to driving a school bus.
