The best thing what you can do in an interview...

...is ask questions.

A candidate who doesn't ask questions shows zero passion. So once you hear "do you have any questions" show an interviewer your curiosity and interest for the position and the company. Ask what is the environment in an office, ask what are the coworkers you will work with. Ask anything, after all, it's your time to shine!

I know one case when a CEO of the company was interviewing a true professional but once he asked "do you have any question?" and she said "no", the interview was over. It was a disastrous answer because it didn't show her interest.

Here are few ideas what you can ask. Hope it will help all of you. https://www.wozber.com/us/guidebook/tag/questions-to-ask-in-a-job-interview/

Have a great job hunting week, Azuolas

You can't use that tactic across the board. While it may work in some work forums it's easy for one to appear to be a cocky smart ass. I have had the opportunity to be on a 3 person interview team. One candidate was as sharp as a tack. She felt good and was ready for the job on paper. But when she was asked if she had any questions she lost it. My vote was to hire her immediately. But the office practice manager and the PA said "NEXT". I asked why, and both said she wanted to be and appear more smarter than she should've come off. And that they don't have time for a show off. So don't say to use this in every situation. Be careful not to shoot yourself in the foot. Personally I've never asked any questions. And I've gotten an offer from every single position that I've applied for. Being inquisitive and a know it all about a company that you don't work for yet could over play your hand...Just be careful...

I followed some advice you gave in another post and improved my resume, so thank you for that. I do always ask questions at interviews although it backfired on me once. When I asked about the casino hotel's yearly revenue, the two women interviewing me had no answers. Oops. They also didn't know that two major casinos in the area had just been purchased. I do my research and I'm interested in the local market that employs so many people where I live. I assumed my interviewers would be interested too but I obviously guessed wrong. :)
