My most memorable job was

My most memorable job was one I had as a kid believe it or not. I worked for Pizza hut for a year to save for a car. I wanted to impress this young lady that I liked so I figured it would great to make some easy cash. Never expected to learn so much. My manager was a wonderful woman who taught me a lot, but the customers taught me even more. I don't remember all of them, but we did have one regular that I won't soon forget. He was a blind man named George. He would walk from his house for 5 minutes every Wednesday just himself. Nothing stopped him prob his whole life. He never wanted anything delivered either. He would order a pepperoni and we would have it hot and waiting right after he called. He never missed, every single Wednesday. My manager would always offer him a ride home but he never took it. Once and awhile my manager would buy him a pizza though and he didn't mind that at all. Feels like forever ago, but what a great bunch of people there.

Some of the best memories I have are of the customers I've met in my 30 plus years in the restaurant business. But the one thing I will always remember first is what 1 of my bosses said to me Ron Baker owned a IGA GROCERY STORE And I ran the Deli he told me that everyone is my teacher and he's right I don't know everything and if I'm the smartest man in the room I'm in the wrong room.

My most memorable moments came very early for me and I've compared everything in my life to them, jobs, love and have continued to search for them all my life.

It is most often that those jobs most of us have had as younsters are the most memorable ones. Those are the experiences we get that become the building blocks for much of the way that ones career goes in the future. The people we meet, how we are treated and what we are taught at young ages become the mold that binds us. Thanks for sharing!
