Promotion gone wrong
My manager promoted me and promise me a raise and told me what my raise was going to be and start? Before all of this happened i always let her know my availability due to i have a son. I came from another store to help at hers store as a shift manager then she say she likes my work ethic eould you like to be promoted. "Of course i said yes". I was sent to the orientation in August. Afterwards hurricane florence occured i couldnt make it to work due to power and no water and she send a text saying she does not have any empathy for amyone in the hurricane storm. Also my mom had let her know that i couldnt close a couple weekends in advance to her cruise out of town she still scheduled me. I had to call out. And was written up for both occasions and suspended for 2 weeks. Then come back from my suspension. Find out she put somebody else in training as a manager and through training that i have been asking for 2years as im working with this company. Now my thing is i keep communicating to my store manager and shebis not doing her part as scheduling and listening. Always telling me what she needs me to do. I come in and do it sometimes or mostly she tells me to do things then turn around and ask me why im doing it?? Dont do it. Dont turn on the other side of the grill. Then when we had a meeting in the meeting the paper simply said turn on the other side of the grill to get times down at night. Im fed up! This picture at the bottom is somewhat of how i walked into this store unorganized and filthy every time i walk in im cleaning up 1st shift and stocking also delegating the jobs. I keep mentioning how i need to come in on a off day. Then she blames me for stuff i never did.

This was yesturday i was so mad coming back from my suspension to see it this dirty
Hi Devoria Davenport - wow. I'm sorry you have to deal with that - she does not sound like a good manager. ESPECIALLY her saying that she has no empathy for anyone in the path of Florence. That is terrible! That alone would make me want to go above her to her boss and report her, let alone her not following company policy and her store being a mess.
