Combat Income InEquality!

Bold move on behalf of the Portland,OR city council to penalize companies that give higher ratios of pay to CEOs with higher taxes. Some may see this at this as good method to level out the income inequality issue but how does this cultivate more new business and jobs in Portland and other cities that choose to follow along this path. Continually taxing and penalizing the hell out of the well to do to solve all the local and national economic deficits eventually get’s old and inspires less people to aspire to be within the well to do. At what point does income equality simply and unanimously become the morally right thing to do for corporate and government decision makers in this country? http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/portland-ceo-pay-1.3886955?ex_cid=SigDig

This is crazy! The best way local government should collaborate with companies to combat income inequality is creating a tax incentive that creates more skills training opportunities for employees. Developing skills high in demand is going to lead to better income opportunities.

The expectation of a moral solution to income inequality issue is a pipe dream. Not because corporate and government leaders lack morality but morality in these matters gets in the way of greed. Isn't greed still popular?
