After reading your story here I am sorry to hear that you have experienced this however you are the not the first person this has happened to and not the last.

Getting mad will solve nothing but bring on more stress. loss of sleep, stomach problems, ulcers and severe diarrhea. From what I have gathered here it sounds like this so called low life manager had you pegged from the moment he hired you and was going to use you for all of things he was supposed to do and let you do it while he screwed off somewhere else and he did not give a Cat's meow less about paying you for it.

From his actions of what you have stated he came in and informed you he was closing the place down without any warnings at all is so low he must have to reach up to touch bottom and in my opinion he is nothing but a piece of human excrement for sure.

Unfortunately there are a lot of cold and insensitive bastards out there today that only think of themselves and no one else.

The manager who did this to you is probably doing what is in the photo I have attached without a doubt.

Best of luck to you with your situation and finding a new position...!

Before I take on any assignments....free or for pay. I give myself 7 days to make a decision on how I will deal with an issue good or bad. I do not make decisions based on emotions or untruths. I must make decisions accordingly by what is fair and honest...even if I am at fault. It is my duty to keep my word in business and personal affairs and fix what I break.

I hope you get paid for the time you've worked. Sorry this happened to you, but hopefully you'll find something better. I wish you the best, and definitely file for unemployment.

Pray for your boss. He is seriously concerned and worried. If he didn't communicate then there is something he just can't talk about. Give him some grace and just go find another job. You will be fine.

Yea but we are in a workers market, because unemployment is so low.... Dude I feel for ya, it sucks, but look at it this way. You learned how to close and you were doing the job of a manager? SO go sell your self as an assistant manager. Your old place closed? Makes it easier for you. You will have to demonstrate your newly found skills to your new potential employer. Look at it as you learned something, always have 2-3 months saved for this kinda situation in the future. GO GET A MANAGER JOB!!!!! The door just opened for you.
