Hi, I am a undergrad at my local college and was wondering about the jobs that are available for me?? The question that i am posting is that should i finish college?? The reason that I ask this question is that my family is falling on hard times and I am having issues finding an internship and a steady job that could or would work around my schedule. I am in my jr year and am at a lost for what the future holds. could someone offer me some advice on a good plan of action????

Hi Albert - I'm so sorry to hear that your family is having trouble, working to afford college is no small feat. If you live on or near campus, I would suggest going into the dining halls, gym, etc. and seeing if they'll hire students. I've worked a bunch of jobs on and around my college campus, and they're usually a lot more understanding about students' schedules and holiday breaks if you need to go home. If you can make it work, I would encourage you to try to finish school - you've gotten this far, it would be a shame to drop out now. See if it's possible to take extra classes during the year or over summer/winter breaks so you could potentially graduate early and save a little bit of money! Best of luck to you!
