Waiting Patiently
I’m just going through the process of trying to get hired as a usps employee, I have not had a interview, I’m waiting to do a background check and drug test, can anyone give me a rundown on how it works and how long is the process of being an employee!!!

Hey Vivian Hardin -I don't know the exact process, but i would contact whoever told you to get the background check and drug test and inquire about the status of the application process. If they get back to you, ask about a timeline for those two things.
I'd imagine the background process should take between 1 week to 3 weeks, depending on what vendor they use. I would try to follow up about once a week with them and let them know you are still interested in the position.
