I am truggling to go on.

2017 was a great year for me, loved my job, the people I worked with. Paid off bills and was starting to save. Then in October, my job laid off all the contractors with no warning.

I couldn't find full-time work, depleted my savings paying living expenses for 5 people. Long story short. My credit took a plunge in 2018 because I could only afford to pay living expenses at this point. Living hand to mouth.

I had a great job prospect. Passed the tests they gave, background, drug test. I have 20+ years of experience, great work discipline. Over a month and a half later of stringing me along. They decided not to hire me due to my credit.

I was able to appeal and pulled my credit showing I had excellent credit until mid-2018. But the still denied me. So the job I thought I had was yanked from me. I just want to work and take care of my family.

My wife and I argue all the time now. My kids don't respect me. Friends have disappeared. I am just drained and tired now. I cant file chapter 7 or 13 because of my circumstances. There are so many other issues happening as well. I will lose my home, family. My dignity and self-opinion are already gone. I don't know what to do anymore. I have been looking for work for so long with no luck of a decent salary. I lost hope I will find anything. My best life is behind me now I guess.

Hi Mark Ken ! I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. But don't lose hope, you're not alone!

Are you currently looking for a new role? If so, what kind? The Jobcase community is here to help you out! I also recommend filling out your profile as thoroughly as you can with some work experience, location and skills/traits.
