Unemployment
I was terminated from my job at a small doctor's office (less than 15 employees) and the reason I was given was that they had to set an example. This I understand and I also understand that I had been previously written up for tardiness however since I was reprimanded for that almost 6 months ago I have not had another single tardy. I missed 3 days of work which I did not have paid time off for due to an auto accident and I provided my former employer with documentation from the doctor stating I was being medicated and unable to work. Any recommendations on if I can still get unemployment or am I just stuck until something else finally comes through?

You can get unemployment, you were not terminated due to policy or procedure violation and you have a written excuse from your doctor.
I believe for any termination, you should apply for unemployment. You never know until you try.

The law is that if you are fired you are entitled to unemployment. However, always have 2 jobs in today's world as companies have no love, no respect and the cost of living is to much when and if you are placed in this position.
We live in a robotic era and 60 hrs. or more is common. The worst part is looking at where we are going robots are taking over so, do what you need to do in these next couple of years to defend yourself against the unexpected as far as careers.

You should be able to receive unemployment. You have written documentation supporting your injuries. Nip it in the bud.

Hello Danielle, You should be able to get unemployment. You have a Dr. Documents concerning your auto accident, which is your valid reason of being terminated.
hey you have to take some blame, all is not lost. pray then you ask the boss ,to take you back, ( tough love) be serious get to work on time and take care of those babies if you have any , prove to yourself that you can do the work, and they will see the real you.
