Must be too old
I’ve been out of work since the company I worked for restructured. I was a certified mechanic for ten years then did multi craft maintenance for fifteen years. Then got an engineering degree and worked for att and then windstream communications. That was seven months ago. I’ve only had five interviews in six months. Must be my age....

Have you tried looking at the AARP job board? They have a selection of jobs exclusively from companies that have pledged not to engage in ageism. If you're concerned about age discrimination it may be a good option for you. All the best!

I get the same feeling. I filled out information for a job through an online form, and as soon as I typed in my age and hit Submit, I was taken out of the process. Coincidence? I think not.
