Besides a paycheck, what kept you coming back to work at The Home Depot every day?
Hours in the day gone
The work at Home Depot wasnt bad for me at all. I had { 2 great supervisors } and co workers as well. The job at Home Depot wasnt bad for me because I worked overnights on the Freight Team. I had peace and quiet all night long which mad most of my nights go smoothly.
It certainly wasn't because of management. It was my co-workers (grunts in the field) that made the difference. I enjoyed greeting customers and helping them with their projects. As well as, helping my co-workers to succeed in their tasks.
For me it was the people. Always cordial and willing to help.
The hope management would change. Female associate trade sex for promotion. Me, had too go through trash cans to eat. Also food banks. Pay manager to eat or keep job. Told by district HR wouldn't be promoted cause DEI. Middle manager demoted, wouldn't where rain bow badge. More...

Loved the management and coworkers
I really enjoy the people I work with. I actually enjoy my job. There of course were plenty of days I would rather be somewhere else. But I can honestly say, it's just a fun and family oriented environment.
I enjoyed what I did. I had a good rapport with repeat customers and enjoyed seeing them. Most of the associates were like family to me
