Customer support representative

I scored an Interview!

I was so excited Thursday to be interviewed through Logisticare for a call center position. It was a group interview with three people and during Customer Service Week (yay)! I tried to use this to market my skills with little skills I feel I have to market as all I do is answer phones for organizations. I don't know how well I did but I am seriously jittery about my self-branding. Are there any call center/customer service Jobcasers in the community that can speak on their marketing approach when it comes to interviewing for this type of position?

Congratulations, Urvashi! Getting a Customer Service job is all about attitude and aptitude. To be able to survive Customer Service, you must be able to display an ability to remain calm and positive under pressure. You should also be able to think quickly on your feet and improvise when thrown a curveball question or issue. If you're well versed in taking calls, those are skills you'll already have developed over time and are probably naturally good at. I'm very excited for you and this exciting new opportunity. Keep us updated on what happens next! All the best!
