Messed up
I just missed a phone call from holiday inn after putting an application in yesterday and I missed their call. I called back and the food and beverage supervisor is not there.left message with name and number again and an apology but I was out putting in more applications.
Yes you did right thing by calling back they should have left you a response about the job
You are never a priority at hotels. If you are not within 3 applications from the top, forget it! Put your name at the top. Reapply every two days
You didn't mess up. Hopefully he'll call you back during his next shift. If you don't hear from him within 24 hours, call around the same time you received the call and see if you can connect with him.
Don't worry I've done it before you did the right thing by calling back just tell them you were driving and don't like to talk and text so you got to where you could pull over and called them back just MAKE sure that excuse works for where you live, it shouldn't matter where because you should NEVER talk and text in ANY state. I don't think you messed up. People miss calls. They can't exactly expect you to pick up on the first ring. And actually it might be a good thing. They leave a message you call back and then they will see how serious you are about the position. Good luck to you
Don't worry if they are really interested in you they will call back or send you an e-mail message. you did the right thing by getting back to them.
