Quickly losing hope...
I have been unemployed since May. I have a degree in early childhood education and have worked in Korea teaching, taught 3 year olds, taught pre k and have worked as a secretary for a few months at the hospital and for a year or two for a family owned business. I've applied for 8 to 12 jobs every day for months and have been unable to find something. I've been interviewed twice for kindergarten jobs but I haven't heard from one. I should hear from the other around the 13th. I'm a hard worker and it's discouraging to not hear from jobs. I'm ready to move out and start a life with the man I love but I feel stuck. I feel useless and like a loser...

There is another factor: age discrimination.

May be you should move to a better place, i mean on the hiring level of teachers. Good luck.

Try VIP Kids. Sounds like you are just what they are looking for. Teaching online to Chinese pre K.

Don't give up keep trying God got your back something will come your way soon

Don't worry, maybe it is not time yet. Keep trying, you will realize it some day. Enjoy your life, I wish you best of luck.

Have you thought about doing substitute teaching or working as an instructional assistant maybe even for a special education class? Try some of the public school districts near you and see if they are hiring. You could also try Kelly Educational Staffing for these type of jobs.

Taylor, you are NOT a loser! Do not worry about anything but in prayer present your requests to GOD Who loves you! (Philippians 4:6) God bless you! GOD will provide! Never give up, keep Jesus before you, He will make way for something great! A turn down could be getting u for something Much better!

Taylor, You may think you've no hope, but the Lord Jesus Christ on His death cried out " It is Finished " on His Cross. His very death and resurrection has allowed you and all humanity to have access to the Grace of God, to His blessings and the Blessed Hope " Christ Jesus ", but most importantly your heart to be right with God, and that's all that matters, not our finances, not our self-planned lives, but knowing that our heart is right with God. Taylor, is your heart right with God? There is only one Cure, and only one Hope, the world won't offer you anything, but Christ died for you that you may have everything in Him. God Loves you, and believe me, i wouldn't be saying it if He didn't because i and millions and millions have experienced God's Wonderful and Joyous Love that He became a Man for you, to live a Righteous Life for you, and went on that old rugged Cross, that He may carry your heavy burden and die for you Taylor, and Jesus knowing that one day taylor would read this words and that if she would only believe and she will be saved wondrously. God's word says: whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved, and scripture also says this: that we must repent of who we are as sinners and in need of a Savior which is Christ, and coming before God in a contrite and a broken spirit. Taylor I believe with all of my heart even though i stumbled much in the words above, but i believe that the position that you are in is in no wise a chance or a coincidence, God works in wonderful ways, and i believe that He wants to work in your life, and save you because He Loves you so much that He gave His Only Begotten Son for you. Please don't glance at this, read it carefully and not only thinking it through, but seeing where you are and honestly examining your life. Judgment is coming, and it is appointed unto all men to die once, then cometh the judgment. this life outside of Christ is worth nothing and it'll profit you not very little but nothing. I plead with you, read this through, and know that Jesus Christ is the only Hope you can have, experience, live, and someday look face to face with the Hope of Glory, Jesus. Taylor, salvation isn't something you have to earn or work for, salvation has already been given to you, but the only way to experience His Salvation is you must lose all hope in yourself and repent that you've lived your life without the Lord's guidance or leading, and surrender your heart to Him and He'll heal the many wounds in your heart, and make you frew from all anxiety and worry, but only if you repent and accept that Jesus is died for you because you needed a Savior, and He alone was able to fully meet that position as Savior of all mankind. As i write these words I sense God's presence and i don't know your heart, but God knows, and He is the only one who can deliver you, and i pray that you are able to acknowledge that. Jesus said, "If any man come unto me, i shall in no wise cast him out." Jesus is the only answer. Believe Him and you'll experience Him.

Hi Taylor, I too have a background similar to yours; ESL teaching and office work. I worked really hard on my resume to turn it into a successful marketing piece for me, but I did a lot of research on what kind of resume employers were looking for, especially since I was planning to apply online. When you apply online, the resume goes into an ATS system (applicant tracking system) and those systems automatically look for keywords. If it doesn't find matching keywords, it won't forward your resume to the recruiter. Research the kind of resumes schools are looking for. You have to check the formatting, the font style, how much white space there should be on the page, etc. Spruce up your resume and then post it on education job boards. Make another resume for office work and place it on office job boards.
Another suggestion is connecting with real human beings, not doing everything online. Sign up with a temp agency and have them help you find education jobs or office jobs. Even if the jobs are temporary, it's a start.
Lastly, go in-person and inquire about job openings at locals schools in your area. I just did this today and was told that it was great that I came in because they happen to be looking for someone in the admissions department. Unfortunately, the director of admissions wasn't available at the moment for a drop-in interview, but she gave me her card and asked that I email her today.
So, don't give up and be assertive! Good luck!
Sounds very hard to go through. I had similar experience and now I am working. Hang in something will come to you.
