I applied for a job, and did an interview over the phone, with whom I thought was the physician. Turns out it was the daughter, of the doctor. She asks me to come into the office to meet with the HR personnel, which I did. She was very impressed. HR stated that she was still interviewing more people but wanted me to come in for work interview. That I should expect a call the following week, to come in for a half day for the work interview. I waited the week, and called back. The actual doctor wanted to meet with me. So I went in for a second interview with the doctor, and entire staff. The doctor had spent time with me and then sent in her staff to interview me, which from what I was told, was all good feed back. The daughter of the doctor came into the room before my leaving and stated that they will call me by Thursday, October 19th, to let me know the outcome good or bad. Never received a call. So of course I called them, I was informed that I am still their #1 candidate for the job position, but that they have put everything on hold until November 1st. Now, should I wait, or give up on this job? I I have now done three interviews total. All three interviews were great. I've only gotten good feedback from all of them. Maybe it's me but I just don't understand.
