Does not having a resume during an interview affect a candidate from getting hired?

This may sound like a silly question. This has never happened to me but today I forgot to bring my resume. I couldn’t back out so I went in hoping they would have a copy from the online application. The interview went on about a hour. We talked about the position, my experience, and I asked some questions about the company goals. Nothing was mentioned but I’m concerned not handing over my resume might cost me some points.

Hi Samuel, Do not worry! Although it is a nice gesture to bring in a hard copy of your resume for your interviewers, the hiring managers and the interview team have already read your resume and have most likely printed out their own copies prior to your interview.

However, if you don't have access to a hard copy of your resume, I suggest that you let the interview team know ahead of time so that they can print off some extra copies just in case!

Good luck! Jen
