Advice
I have been trying to find a job for most of this year. I had several interviews with no luck, and is very frustrated, although I'm taking a real estate course to better my situation, that's all good, but I'm getting restless. I am middle aged, so maybe that's have something to do with it, these managers whom I've dealt with really don't know who they are denying because I know I am great at what I do, any suggestions on what's I should do because I'm at my wicks end, sometimes I think that I'm been black balled, just a feeling.....

Well what I would ask is what drives you when you were at work? What are the things that you have done that made an impact to the company? Most managers (and I don't me all managers), they would like to see are results to what you've done. For example, if you're working in a factory, what are some things that you've done to make your work easier, but making sure that either the quality or performance is at 100% efficient? Or what are some examples that you can think of that you have worked with difficult people and how you manage to work together as a team (I get that one all the time actually..)? Instead of listing off what you've done that correlates with the job, use examples instead that makes you stand out. Find that drive that makes you different than all the other candidates, make that impression that you can do the work just as good if not better than the last person applying.
I appreciate all your insight, but my problem the way I see it is that I'm being blackballed. I quite a job before it closed once, and applied for another position, where there was a few of my previously employee were there, to make a long story short, I got an second interview and the person who interviewed me stated that I wanted to know who you were or something to that affect, don't remember exactly because it's been quite sometime ago, however my passion has always been real estate and decorating houses, so that's what I'm pursuing now, but until I get my license, I still need employment as you guys can understand. I do Medical Billing so what I can bring to the table is my good attitude in communicating with patient's, my attention I bring to getting all of my claims out as clean as possible is very important in this line of work, while you can't change the software system the company's used to make your work easier, there is no easy way to do that, and as far as working with difficult people, that's something that you have to do regardless if your at work or not, and how I handle that is listen to what they are ranting about and handle it accordingly, I have never had an argument at work because I don't let some one bad day effect the productivity that must go on in the work place. I have always got along with my co-workers which makes working as a team easier. I take everything I do seriously and give it 100 percent, but what I won't do is kiss butts, sorry I'm not wired that way, I'm friendly, kind but will not do that sorry......
