Former employee

This is the poorest run establishment I've ever seen. General manager doesn't have the guts to handle difficult situations with customers and tries to avoid them with employees also. Always puts the difficult situations off on other managers. Well you shouldn't get paid to be the GM job when you're too gutless to confront difficulty. Especially when you're the one making decisions that make customers angry like not putting out items advertised or not cooking near enough of popular items like prime rib , Then making other management and staff take all the complaints and anger after he was the one who said not to cook more knowing full well it wouldn't be near enough. Why would he care he won't face the customer and Is very seldom there when It happens. Employees are told to fill out false surveys to counter bad ones sent in. It happened frequently where all of the items for a campaign were not there and we were told to lie to the customer but what really happened was he wasnt putting them out and had no intention of it. Employees were told the insurance offered was double the price so they wouldn't accept it because the company actually paid half he wouldn't tell them though. Probably comes off profit and takes down his bonus. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Owners should Know what else really goes on

Not too many managers are good at handling confrontations but it sounds like there's a lot of issues going on at that location. You should include this info on glassdoor to forewarn other applicants and give corp an opportunity to address the issues at that location.
