I worked for CR England, and did there "training"....over all a negative experience, but I did learn a lot. All your major companies are competing for drivers, and trainees...shop around, as all have pluses and minuses....good luck

Renee in order to be a good independent truck driver have all of your licenses for driving truck. Intact that way you don't have to get information from anyone you have qualified yourself and giving what the requirements are in order to apply for different jobs it cuts down the confusion because you know you can walk out and apply for the job that you want because you have the necessary licenses to do so so do that so that you can stop listening to everybody trumpkin is so competitive so stand on your own Do Your Own Thing you got it good luck

Short term. Everyone needs drivers. Long term? They are working hard on automation, and pipelines, cutting down on the "bottom line" ASAP.

I work for them, they have been great! We did get substantial raises right after hitting the road. I feel sorry for those that worked so hard before those raises tho. I think CRE realized they were paying too low for the industry. I'd recommend the CA or Tx schools tho so you can stay in an actual hotel while in school instead of the dorms. I drive team with my hubby and we went to SLC. Because we are married we got our own room but solos bunk 8 to a room!!...unless you're in the hotels. We drive a brand new truck and you can apply to get out of OTR pretty quickly. It's not a cake walk but it is 100 percent about what you put into it and how you chose to perceive the opportunity. Good luck to you friend, no matter what you choose

STAY AWAY FROM THEM !! They are starting to run two students to a trainer which is incredibly unsafe. If you don't stay there a year the markup on their school is astronomical. There are a ton of community colleges with CDL programs now got her a hell of a lot cheaper and some that are free. If you want any more info I'll definitely help you out buddy just get a hold of me on messenger.
