Job interview at a bank
I went on a job interview for a bank and think it went very well and even though the position is not specifically dealing or handling of money Im concerned that the 4 thgs tht are in collection on my credit report will have an adverse reflection on whether im extended an offer. Does anyone know whether the collections on ur credit report will have a negative outcome of being employed at a bank even if the job is in human resources or do they take into account what is on your credit report?

Just keep it professional and no sweat dont get nervous keep positive and courteous, you"ll get it

Hi Tonya it can reflect on your new position . However the company can over look it. If you are a good fit for the job. I am sure you will be fine. Don’t worry about something that is already done. But work on paying off your debt. Good luck
Good

Just like any employer, it is completely random from one to the next as to if they even run a credit check as part of the hiring process.
I know they do criminal background checks, for obvious reasons.
I have friends who currently work for Chase and Bank of America and their credit is so poor they are probably getting pre-declined offers from credit card companies.
The one who works for chase got hired wile in active Chapter 13 bankruptcy.
I would search the internet to see if you can find any information on the hiring practice of the bank you are interviewing with. Did you consent to a background check that includes checking your credit report?
You can find useful information about companies on www.glassdoor.com. Search for the company then look at the interviews and application reviews to see if they shed any light on whether a credit check will be run.

That's a really great question that I don't know the answer to. I know other places besides banks to credit checks, so if that's something that has a negative effect in general, it might. That is just a guess though.
At times yes...however pray to God because He works wonders! Dont be negative about your past.
