Drama at #Northrop Grumman
Actually, it was my supervisor/manager. She, without hesitation or any modicum of reluctance, publicly insulted, embarrassed, and derided me in front of our co-workers because she mistakenly insisted that I had “dropped the ball” for a pricing request from our proposals department. A female Contracts person offered up her version of what she thought our proposals department was really looking for. Without even looking into the matter herself, my (female) manager decided that of course I had to be wrong since my take did not agree with the (female) contract administrator. Regrettably, I mistakenly resigned a few days later. If I had to do it all over again, the outcome would have played out differently with certain persons’ careers on the line for the public humiliation I had endured. Even now I still toy with the thought of retaliation and retribution that the facts of my departure would invoke were they given the light of day.
